BETTY S BOWNE

Betty S. Bowne 10-19-1940 to 1-6-2021 from Greenwood, DE.  Daughter of James and Bessie Scott.  Married H. Eugene Bowne, moved to Georgetown, DE where they had 2 sons, Mark and Michael Bowne.

She worked for Fisher's Napa Auto Parts for about 3 decades.  She absolutely loved sports and never missed her son's games.  She loved her beloved Orioles, Colts and then Ravens.  Betty adored God, family and friends. 

She was a kind, loving and giving person.  She loved to smile and laugh.  Betty is survived by her Son Michael, Daughter in law Marian, Granddaughter Talane, Grandson Tyler, Niece Kelly White and her husband Bryan and their children Zachary, Spencer and Madison (whom she resided with for almost 2 decades) Nephew Brian Willin and his wife Angie, their children Josh and his family and Brooke, who too has passed but has welcomed Nanya into Heaven, not with sign language, but with voice, beauty and a big hug.

Rest in Peace Betty, Nanya, Nana, Great Grandmom and Mom.

Graveside Services will be on Thursday, January 14th at 1 PM at Bloomery Cemetery.
