Anna May Kocher

Anna May Kocher, age 94, of Ellendale, DE, formerly of National Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born on December 12, 1930, the daughter of the late Ralph and Agnes Stites.

Anna was a member of the Red Hat Society, she loved to garden, and she was an avid baker in her younger years. She loved to go antiquing with her late husband Rich, she loved the holidays, especially Christmas where she would make homemade ornaments for everyone in her family, but most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her two daughters, Lynn and Jan (Art), her son, Rick (Amy), grandchildren, April, Lindsay, Richard, Lauren, and Melissa, and 7 great-grandchildren (soon to be 8).

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Agnes Stites, two brothers, Herb Souder and Ralph Stites Jr, and a granddaughter, Jessie.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 7:00 PM with a public viewing from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N Shipley Street, Seaford, DE. 

Committal Services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Delaware Veterans Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE.
