Amber Lynn Hood

Our beautiful girl Amber Lynn Hood, gained her wings on March 1, 2022.  She was born in Easton, Maryland on April 13, 1987 to Tracy Thibodeau and John Hevenor.
Amber graduated with honors from Woodbridge Senior High in Bridgeville, Delaware in 2005. She became a mother to a beautiful boy, Jonathon Downes Jr in August 14, 2007. She loved hunting and fishing with her son J.J., spending time with family and friends, cooking, and showing her prized chickens that always placed well at the state fair.  She was a beautiful soul with a kind heart, a beautiful smile, infectious laugh and a witty sense of humor. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by so many people.

She is survived by her son Jonathon "JJ" Downes Jr of Greenwood, DE, her mother Tracy Thibodeau of Myrtle Creek, OR, her father John Hevenor of Denton, MD, her brother William "BJ" Jerread III of Seaford, DE, her brother Cory Thibodeau of Seaford, DE, her brother Chase Jerread of Seaford, DE and her sister Christian Smith of Greensboro, MD, her brother Stephen Rybolt of Cambridge, MD. She is also survived by her maternal family, grandparents Patricia and Leonard Baker of Myrtle Creek, OR, a great-grandmother Betty Hood of Hurlock, MD, s great uncle Edwin Hood of Hurlock, MD, an aunt Rikki Leonard of Rapid City, SD, an aunt Tina Richardson of Newburg, OR, an aunt MaryBeth Jerread of Bridgeville, DE, an uncle Norman Couch Jr. of Moro, OR, an uncle Zayne Knight of Portland, OR, a cousin Ryan Hood of Preston, MD, a cousin Brittanie Eggerding of Grand Rapids, MI, a cousin Nick Richards of Greensboro, MD, and numerous other cousins.
On her paternal side, she is survived by a grandfather Mike Carbo of Greensboro, MD, an aunt Dawn Carbo of Greensboro, MD, and numerous other cousins.
She is preceded in death by her beloved step-father Peter L. Thibodeau of Bridgeville, DE, a sister Cassi Jerread of Baltimore, MD, a maternal cousin Zia Richardson of Jackson, MS, a paternal grandmother Vivian Carbo of Greensboro, MD, a grandmother Jennilee Dewey of Gem, KS
Many extended family members including JJ's father Jonathon Downes and his family, a dad William "Billy"Jerread of Pittsville, MD, a step-mom Charity Rybolt of Denton, MD, grandparents William and Karen Jerread and family and many, many friends who adored her.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 8, 2022 at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford, DE 19973.
