Aline R Hill

Aline R Hill passed away on March 27, 2023, at The Manor House in Seaford.  She was born in Seaford on November 3, 1928, to Harry J. “Sam” Records and Lillian Jarman Records. 

She graduated from Seaford High School in 1946.  She married William T Hill in 1948 and settled into mothering their seven children, a task at which she excelled.

As the children grew older, she returned to work for Griffin and Hackett Law Offices as a title searcher and later as a customer service representative with Bank of Delaware, now PNC Bank, from which she retired in 1992.

Aline was an active Girl Scout leader for many years and a life member of the Virgil Wilson VFW Post 4961 Auxiliary. She loved to play dominoes and cards with her many friends.

Aline’s children were her priority always and her caring extended to quite a few of their friends, to whom she became a second mother.  She never learned the meaning of slow down, always going full speed. 

She was predeceased by her first husband William T Hill and second husband John H. Peters, her parents, her brother Harry Records, her sister Beverly Hill, nieces Sandra Hill and Donna Conaway, and nephew Barry Hill. She was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Sandra Hill.

She is survived by her children Sharon Drugash (Don), Gregory Hill, Toni Hill, Dawn Marvil (Bob), Periann Palmer (Bruce), Jeffrey Hill (Susan) and Annette Ring (Bill).  Also surviving her are her grandchildren  Billy Drugash, Steven Drugash, Scott Pickinpaugh (Kim), Trisha Hassan (Max), Kari Coulter (Matt), Patrick Marvil (Amy), Matthew Marvil (Abbey), Derek Smith (Nicole), Ashley Yoh (Ryan), Kyle Hill (Kierstin), Alexis Hill; Tyler Lyons (Delilah) and Daina Watkins (Dylan) and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Helen Records, and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at The Manor House, 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, DE
