Wilson G. Brown, age 93, of Seaford, DE went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2017.

          Wilson was born in Paradise, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ira and Mildred Brown.  He attended Penn State University and Temple University.  He was an Army Veteran of WW II. 

          He moved to Seaford in 1967.  He retired from Vlasic Foods in Millsboro, DE in 1999.  After retirement Wilson worked for the Dutch Market in Laurel.

          Wilson is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice Brower Brown, a son, Wilson G. Brown Jr, a daughter Lura Rebecca Brown, step-children, Jeffrey L. Burns and Michael G. Burns, brother in law, George L. Houck, sisters in law, Kathryn Yannetti and Gloria Barker, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a step-son, Rick L. Burns and 4 siblings, Lee Brown, Mary Jane Fitz, Robert Brown and Evelyn Frew.

          There will be a Celebration of Wilson’s life on Tuesday, January 2nd at 2 PM at the Atlanta Road Alliance Church, 22625 Atlanta Road, Seaford, DE.  Burial will be on Wednesday, January 3rd at 1 PM at Ranck’s United Methodist Church Cemetery, 700 Ranck Rd, New Holland, PA.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Atlanta Road Alliance Church, 22625 Atlanta Rd, Seaford, DE 19973.
