Wilma B. Kimbrough, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ ,

surrounded by her husband and children on September 2, 2017 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, DE.  She was the daughter of Percy and Alma Binford from Birmingham, Alabama.

Wilma and Harvey, and their three young children, moved to Seaford in 1966.  She became a founding member of the Seaford Federal Credit Union.  She loved raising her children.  She remained very active in her church and community.  She found time to mentor students in the Seaford School District. Wilma had a loving heart that showed through her service in many church based groups and community organizations such as Nanticoke Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, church and community Thrift Stores, Delaware Meals on Wheels, Breast Cancer Awareness, just to name a few.  Wilma took pride in being a long time member of P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization)  She was always ready for a game of Bridge, Hand and Foot, or a new favorite Five Crowns.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harvey P. Kimbrough, Jr., three children, Harvey "Phil" Kimbrough III and his wife Penny of Seaford,Marguerite  Kimbrough Carper and her husband James "Chip" of Hebron, Terry Kimbrough Fibelkorn and her husband James "Jim" of Harrington, a sister Olivet Dial, a brother Harry Binford, 6 grand children, 13 great-grand children. Wilma was predeceased by her parents, and sister, Marguerite Summers.

Memorial Services will be on Sunday, September 10th at 3PM at St. Johns Methodist Church, Pine and Poplar Sts, Seaford.  Reception to follow Services in the Fellowship Hall.  Friends may call from 2-3PM in the Wesley Lounge. 

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Manor House Benevolence Fund, 1001 Middleford Rd, Seaford, DE 19973 and St. John's United Methodist Church.
