VERA CARLSON Obituary

Vera E. Carlson, age 84, of Seaford, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2018 surrounded by her son and daughter and two dear friends Joyce and Dave Smith.

Vera was born in Meredith, NH on July 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Forrest C. Lund Sr and Esther Roberts Lund. She was also preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Robert H. Carlson and Forrest C. Lund, Jr and cousin Earle Lund.

She is survived by her loving children, Lisa Carlson and Russell Carlson, a sister-in-law Norma McCabe (Jack), four step-children, Robert D. Carlson (Donna), Gary S. Carlson, Deborah Guetz and Brenda Ritz (Jerry) along with a number of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. Also a very special young lady, Brittany and many friends including her church family. Vera was an avid reader, especially Christian fiction about Amish life. She enjoyed knitting, needle point and sewing.
