TERRY DIMES

Terry Dimes, age 58, of Delmar, DE passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

          Terry was born in Seaford, the son of the late David M. Dimes, Jr and Mary E. Baker Dimes.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Dimes and a sister-in-law, Sharon Bailey.   

          He was a plumber for 25 years and then went into maintenance.  He was a die-hard Pittsburg Steelers fan and enjoyed NASCAR and TV LAND shows.  He will be remembered for being a loving husband and loving dad to his angel Buddy, his pet dog.  He loved his family and friends and would do anything in the world for them. 

          Terry is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 35 years, Resa Dimes, a brother-in-law, William Bailey, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Bailey (fiancée, Phil Golubski), nephews, Josha, Patrick, Coty, and Kyle, a host of great-nephews and friends.  2 special friends, Raymond Absher, and Marybeth Cooper, his dumpling lady, our neighbor, Alva Gustus.

          Memorial Services will be on Saturday, December 29th at 2 PM at Christ Evangelistic Church, 9802 Camp Rd, Laurel, DE, Rev. Roland Tice will officiate.
