PRESTON E BRASURE

Preston E. Brasure ”Prep” of Bridgeville, Delaware born 03-11-1949 in Clarksville, Delaware succumbed after a long 6 year battle with cancer. To the end, he did things his own way with the loving support of his family. Preston. A craftsman, he built homes with his father. He retired from Sussex Correctional Institution after 21 years. He enjoyed hunting, surf fishing, crabbing, clamming, boating, muzzle-loaders, fox hunting, and CB radios.

          Preston was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Elwood and Edith Brasure and a brother Harvey J. Brasure.                                   He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda V Brasure, son, Keith (Kara) Brasure of Dagasboro, daughters, Kelly Jansen (Tom Weaver) of Bridgeville and Cindy ( Patrick) Brown of Milton. Five Grandchildren, Zeke Wing, Kelsey Jansen, Amanda Brasure, Parker and Mackinzie Brown. Three great grandchildren, Holden Jansen, Eli and Klaira Wing, and his white lab - Dixie.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Nanticoke Cancer Center or Delaware Hospice.

Services will be private, but a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
