It was my privilege to work with Kathy at Seaford High School teaching Home Economics together. She truly lived her faith and by doing so, was a shining example to her students. Her sense of humor quite often helped us through whatever rough spots came along. i know she will be missed by your whole family and her community.

God bless you all.

Mrs. Quillen, such a great woman and teacher. She taught me how to make my first shirt and dress set. Sweet, kind and loved her students. Rest in peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. She was an amazing teacher & woman who loved everyone. Such warmth & caring is hard to find but she truly lived what she believed in. Both our families go way back. I'm sure she's with her husband and looking down & watching over you all. And at some time Mom will see her & they will share a big hug. I wish I could be for on Thursday but I can't get out of work. But know that my thoughts & prayers will be with you. Really big hugs for you all

My dear wife and I would like to extend our condolences for the loss of your loved one. All of us have experienced the pain of death in some way sad to say. And, so, at difficult times like this we are confronted with the stark reality of how precious and fragile life can surely be. So, we send this condolence to you with the hope that we can in some small way comfort you as it has comforted us with what the Bible reveals to us about good news from Almighty God. We are in no way trying to impose our faith on you, but sincerely just want to extend comfort to you during your grief (Proverbs 17:17). As recorded in the Bible, God's only-begotten son, Jesus promises that one day he is going to bring back to life all those who have died (John 5:28,29). Just as death is an enemy to us, it is also an enemy to God (1 Corinthians 15:26). For that reason as well as others, He promises to remove forever all the pain, suffering, wickedness, and DEATH that mankind has had to endure for thousands of years (Revelation 21:3-5; Psalm 37:10,11,29). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). It is our hope that you not take our word for what has been written; but that you take a moment to read and meditate on all these referenced scriptures and be comforted by the marvelous hope God has in store for us (Psalm 1:1-3; John 17:3). Our thoughts and prayers are sincerely with all of you.

I'm sure that Kathy would add her amen to what was written with the scriptures as reference. She loved the Lord even more than her George (yes, that is the way it should be) and was looking forward to being with them both. Kathy loved her brothers and sisters in Christ at Grace and was greatly loved by each of us. Heaven's gain is our loss. God speed sister!
