Daisey T. Monaco Massaro, age 96, of Seaford, DE passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017.

          Daisey retired from the Seaford School District Cafeteria after 15 years, she also owned and operated Daisey’s Kiddie Card Shop and worked for her father at Monaco’s during the war.  She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 4961 in Seaford.

          Her husband Andy Massaro died in 1990, her daughter, Joann Massaro Herlihy died in .  She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and a sister. 

          She is survived by her son Joseph “Joe” Massaro (Sandi), 4 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren, 17 nieces and nephews.

          Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 2nd at Noon at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 11 to 12.  Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Vitas Hospice, 30265 Commerce Dr, Suite 202, Millsboro, DE 19966.
