CHARLES "STEVE" DEWEY

Charles S. “Steve” Dewey, age 68, of Seaford, DE passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019.

          Steve was retired from the Navy, and served in Vietnam.  He was a Life Member of the American Legion in Seaford and the VFW in Seaford and was a founder of the American Legion Riders, Post 6.

          He was the son of Mildred Dewey and the late Charles Dewey.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” Dewey on April 12, 2019.

          Besides his mother he is survived by his companion Alberta Arch, a son, Jeffrey Dewey, brothers, Timmy Dewey, Kenny Dewey, Jerry Dewey, sisters, Jody Dewey, Lois Vannicola (Harry).

          Friends are invited to gather at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford on Wednesday, April 24th a noon.  We will then process to Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE for Memorial Services at 1 PM.  Burial will follow at the Cemetery.
