Wayne A. Fuller, age 84, of Seaford, DE passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.

          Wayne was born in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Allen K. and Helen E. Fuller.  He graduated from Baltimore Polytech and then enlisted in the Navy for 4 years.  He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1961.  He was a Loss Control Engineer for Liberty Mutual for several years in Washington, DC area.  He then worked as Loss Control Manager for Maryland Casualty Insurance Company from the Kensington Office.  Later he transferred to the new office for Zurich Insurance in the Baltimore area.  While in the DC area he became president of the American Society of Safety Engineers for the DC, Virginia area for one year.  In 1993 he retired from Zurich Insurance Co. and moved to their new home in Bethany Beach, DE.  At that time he joined the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company and was honored as Life Member in 2013.  He also served in several capacities and was a Fire Policeman for over 15 years.  Wayne also served on several Town of Bethany committees then served as a Town Councilman for 10 years.

          He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sue, daughters, Marcia Fuller-Fenlon & husband, Gregory, Lisa Longeiret and husband Francois, five grandson, Christopher and wife Katie, Andrew, Pierre, Samuel and Marc and two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Nolan.  He is also survived by his nieces and their husbands, nephews and cousin, sisters-in-law, Jean Snyder and Beverly Reinhardt (Bob).  He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Appel and Nancy McDade.

          Memorial Services will be on Saturday, April 8th at 2 PM at the Methodist Manor House, 1001 Middleford Rd, Seaford, DE.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Bethany Beach Fire Department, 215 Hollywood St, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.
