Paige Lorraine Mayhew Carson, age 90, of Laurel, DE passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017.

          Paige was born in Annapolis, MD, the daughter of the late Marty and Mary Mayhew.  She lived on the eastern shore MD and DE most of her adult life and was living in Laurel at the time of her death.

          She owned and operated Carson’s Greenhouse in Seaford. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, camping, cooking, baking, sewing, working in the garden planting flowers, casino slots, card games, dice, bingo, pictures, big family gatherings spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved dogs for companionship.

          She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Carson Jr.  She is survived by 4 sons, Timothy Alan Carson (Linda), George Washington Carson IV, Jeffrey Lee Carson and William Kit Carson (Linda), 13 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

          A Memorial Service will be held on January 13, 2018 at 11 Am at Concord United Methodist Church, 7112 Dion Rd, Federalsburg, MD 21632.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Inc, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Vision India, c/o Mark Yoder, Country Rest Home, 12046 Sunset La, Greenwood, DE 19950.
