Mary Ellen Tull, age 77, of Seaford, DE passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, doing what she loved, traveling. Mary Ellen’s last adventure took her through the Great Rivers of Europe.

          Mary Ellen left behind 2 daughters, Julia Tull and Kimberly McCane of Seaford, 4 grandchildren, Stefanie Hull, Brittany Stewart, Veronica Garcia and Jasmine McCane, 7 great-grandchildren, Jeremy Love, Briana and Nathan Hull, Aaron, Andrew, Melanie and Christopher Garcia, 2 ex-husbands, W. F. Haines Tull and Robert Hough and numerous nieces and cousins.

          She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Love and 2 grandsons, Jeremy Love and Robert Clinton Seymore Jr, her mother Dora Lee Jester Passwaters and father  Branch Albert Passwaters, 2 brothers, Alton and Lawrence Passwaters, 4 sisters, Dora Lee Zsedney, Margaret Jewell, Bessie Green and Virginia Sammons.

          Mary Ellen graduated from Seaford Senior High School.  She retired from General Mills.

          She was an avid adventurer, traveling throughout the world, experiencing different cultures.  She enjoyed sky diving and was involved in many clubs and community organizations, such as the VFW, American Legion, Elks Club, Moose Club, Historical Society, Senior Center Meals on Wheels, Nanticoke River Yacht Club, Spade & Trowel Club and the Garden Club.

          A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 1 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 11 to 1.

          Following the Service the family will continue the celebrate Mary Ellen’s life at the Seaford VFW, 9767 Middleford Rd.

          Mary Ellen had a selfless concern for the welfare of others.  In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Humane Society, St. Jude’s, Wounded Warriors, Meals on Wheels or the VFW.
