Marjorie E. Lloyd, age 94, of Beloit, WI, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 in her daughter Pat Hoye’s home, surrounded by her children.

She was borne August 17, 1921 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Henry and Daisy (Rothgeb) Coens. Marjorie was a graduate of Mundelein College in Chicago, IL.  She married Harold M. Lloyd on December 27, 1947 in Chicago, IL.  He predeceased her on February 14, 2004.

Marjorie was a homemaker and enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader for all 3 of her daughters.  She loved to play bridge and couples poker.  Marjorie was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Hoye of Beloit, WI, Linda (Russell) DeFranza of Matteson, IL, and Donna (Eugene) Sutfin of Morton Grove, IL; grandchildren, Christine DeFranza, Melissa, Jessica and Jim Sutfin; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, siblings, Sister Mary Xavier and Jack Coens.

A visitation will be held at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, DE on Friday, July 8th from 11 to 12, followed by graveside services at Odd Fellows Cemetery at 12:30.
