Betty J. Long, age 90, of Seaford, DE passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

          Betty was retired from the Federal Reserve, where she was a budget analyst.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and avid stamp and coin collector and she loved gardening.

          Her husband, Bacel Long died in 1990.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Alta Gardner and Marlene “Marty” Mickles and her husband, Richard, 3 grandchildren, Kathleen, Jason and Kristi, 5 great-grandchildren and a brother, Fred Post. 

          Memorial Services will be on Saturday, September 24th at 11 AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 200 Front St, Seaford. 

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, P O Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802 or St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 202 North St, Seaford, DE 19973.
