Kathleen M. Cooper, age 72, of Delmar, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Delaware Hospice Center after a long battle with cancer.

          Kathleen was born in Millsboro, the daughter of the late John “Sam” Chandler Sr and Betty Knepp Chandler.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Chandler Jr in January of 2017, and her daughter, Bonnie Kaye in 1986.

          She is survived by her children, Karen Wilson (Richard Jr), and Terry Cooper, grandchildren, Dan Zaweurcha, Richard “Richie” Wilson III (Lindsay), Ashley Wilson (fiancée, Matt), brother, Bill Chandler (Deb), sister, Pattie Farrell (Cliff) and sister in law, Pat.

          Memorial Services will be on Monday, February 20th at 4 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 3 to 4. 

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Laurel Wesleyan Church 30186 Seaford Rd, Laurel, DE 19956.
