Katherine Anna Krewatch Quillen of Seaford, Delaware, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Friday, July 21, 2017. Kathy was born July 13, 1930 in Delmar, Delaware, to Edward and Hattie Krewatch. She attended Delmar High School and continued her education at Iowa State College, and University of Delaware. Kathy pursued a career in teaching home economics for the Seaford School District.

          She married the love of her life George in 1952 and was married 63 years. Kathy enjoyed spending time reading, sewing, and listening to music. Kathy’s Christian faith was strong and so was her love for her family. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her siblings Thelma Hastings, Robert Krewatch, and Diane Carmean, and her son, Stephen, his wife, Ali Reed Quillen, and son David and his wife, Debra Gaskin Quillen. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ian Quillen, Eryn Quillen, Haley Fascelli and her husband Tony, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her sweet smile and kind soul will forever be remembered.

          A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Seaford, Delaware on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
