Hilda G Breasure, age 102, of Seaford, DE passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017.

          Hilda was born and raised in Puckum, MD.  She moved with her parents, John and Lattie Handy to Seaford in 1933.She resided in Seaford for 84 years.  She was employed at the Watson then Gant Company. 

          She married Wilson R. Breasure of Georgetown.  They were married for 63 years.  Her father and uncle built their home in Seaford in 1938 and she resided there until entering Genesis in September of 2016.

          Hilda was an avid gardener of flowers and produce.  She enjoyed freezing and canning much of what she grew.  She was also a Quilter.

          Hilda and Wilson spent time camping in Florida, Myrtle Beach and Virginia camp grounds. 

          Her husband Wilson Breasure passed away in 2001.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Louise Darby and a dear nephew, Vernon Hastings.

           She will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Ginny of Surfside, SC and Seaford and Kathryn Botdorf (John) of Seaford, 3 grandchildren, Dan Botdorf (Kim) of Virginia Beach, Lisa Mason (Pat) of Hilton Head, SC and Jeff Botdorf (Tina) and eight great-grandchildren.

          Funeral Services will be on Monday, February 20th at 1 PM at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 12 to 1.  Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

          In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, P O Box 87, Seaford, DE 19973.
