Blanche E. Gundry, age 74, of Seaford, DE passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

          Blanche and her husband, John, operated Gundry Farms, Mernie’s Market and Gundry Bus Service.  As a young woman, she also worked several years as a secretary at Seaford High School.  Blanche was an active member of the Woodland United Methodist Church and the Twilight Homemakers Club.

          Blanche was the daughter of the late Clarence and Etha Massey.  She was one of nine children and the last one surviving

          She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, John R. Gundry, a daughter, Tami Gunst (John), a son, Anthony Gundry (Terry), 4 grandchildren, Sydney Gunst, Sarah Gunst, Jessica Gundry and Emily Gundry.  

          Funeral Services will be on Sunday, May 1st at 2 PM at Woodland United Methodist Church, 5123 Woodland Church Rd, Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 1 to 2 PM.  Burial will be in the Woodland Church Cemetery.
